I wonder what it is that leads Singaporean customers to treat the service staff as inferior beings who probably weren't able to get a better job because of whatever little qualifications they have and therefore, they suck and should be treated as such.

Hey there, run-on sentence.
For the few days I've been working in this environment, I had to bite my lips too many times and plaster on a big smile that hopefully looks genuine.

Sure, there are times that I had seriously hoped that it didn't turn into a smirk.
