A HUGE APOLOGY

Geewhiz, fandom drama. I totally feel like creating a whole new Twitter account just to run from the shit KPop fandoms throw at me. I still do not understand their nazi mentality - in that they're only welcoming to "pure" fans, I mean, "true" fans. Who on earth came up with such a term?

So, apparently, I am not allowed to like a ~lot~ of bands/groups because that will lead to them questioning me about my loyalty. Loyalty. Hah. If it denotes that I should love every single thing that they do and defend them from every single criticism, then, straight-up, by your definition, I am not loyal.

Straight-up, I'll tell you that SHINee's Hello is weak and that's putting it nicely. U-Kiss' Shut Up was horrible. I couldn't sit through the entire thing. Even the ab-flashing didn't help. CSS, I am not interested. FT Island's songs was a borderline for me because I couldn't stand Flower Rock and am still traumatised by it. Don Quixote wasn't as nice as what many have said either. CNBlue's I don't know why was a major disappointment (but it still sounds good). 2NE1 didn't really deserve to win that much on music shows. Taeyang's I Need A Girl was boring.

And you get the gist of it.

Not only that. Apparently, I have to announce to the entire world aka my t-list that I am a fan of any group or individuals that I am a fan of. Hence, the insane spamming. Sorry, you guys. I know some of you unfollowed me. PEACE(Y) That was a wise move.

So, I happen to not mention that I like a certain group. Maybe I did mention it in real life to some people that I really talk to but noo.... the entire t-list has to know about it. So when I suddenly blurt out about the extra JYJ tickets in my hands, oh hell surely started. Tsk. It'd be better if you'd go up to me right in my face and ask me and I could've explained the entire damn thing and probably sit through your interrogation (if I have the patience). Pfft. Even a text message will do. However so, you choose to go around bitching about me to prolly almost every single person that who would care to listen to you. It's only after a friend told you to shut up and ask me straight on that you'd be satisfied with my answers (albeit disgruntled).

Then, there is the issue of age. How old is too old for a fandom? How young is too young for a fandom? I don't give a damn about your age as long as you maintain propriety in public in face of your idols. IDGAF about "Korean Way". Girls, this is not Korea so STFU and watch your conduct. I'd hate to see public property damaged (paid by our taxes!) and the country's image ruined just because a group of rowdy fans misbehaved.

I dislike how we become unthinking selfish individuals in the face of all this hallyu wave. Whoah. What is with this sudden statement? 4Minute puts it perfectly with I, My, Me, Mine. It's all about me me me me. Generation I, My, Me, Mine. Generation IDGAFABOUTYOUGIMMEWHATIWANT. I see rage on my twitter timeline over inane things that makes no sense just because things don't go their way. I see insane screaming that is actually contagious (because "society" deems it alright). Once again, sorry T-list (current and former).

Looking through this short period of time that I have been tweeting from that account, much of the explosion came about after the addition of KPop fans to my t-list. No, I am not blaming them. I have myself to be blamed too for I have been wholeheartedly participating in this community.

Participant-observer. I think that's what I've turned into.

P.S. I can't fit this point in somehow but.. it irks me further to see kids abandoning their education for fleeting moments of fun. By education, I mean their big stepping-stone exams like the GSCEs. Goodness. This be the future leaders of our country? I hope not.

P.P.S. My flow totally went off but oh well. I think I'm gonna delete more KPop fans off my tlist.
