Punta Fuego again... on mornings and nights.

During our first night there at Punta Fuego, I fell asleep at 9pm. I was the very first one to sleep in that whole house. I slept even before baby Andrew did. Hehe.

I woke-up at 5am. I went to the bathroom then when I went back inside the room my mom wasn't on her bed anymore. So I went downstairs to look for her. I found her, already in her bathing suit and shorts. So I told her to wait for me while I go and got dressed too. Then we walked down to the beach. When we got there it was already 5:30am and the sky wasn't so dark anymore. My mom and I sat a little far from each other because we didn't want to disturb each other while we were having our quiet time. It's wonderful, having quiet time on the sand, waiting for the sun to rise, listening to the waves.

The sunrise was fantastic. (I find myself using the word fantastic more and more these days). It made eveything glow. The trees, the sea, the rocks, the sand, the sky... Just seeing all of those made me want to worship God even more. Oh, how those things beautifully glorified our God... And they did nothing special. The sun didn't dance. The trees didn't sing. No... The sun rose at it normally would, the trees gently swayed in the breeze, the clouds slowly glided across the sky... And yet God was glorified. I then remembered that God really is glorified when we do what he has made us to do.

After our quiet time my mom and I ran to the sea. What a beautiful morning. I'm so glad my mom and I are morning people. :)

Later that night, after swimming all day, we had a good dinner back at the house. Then some of the adults went out to go walking while the kids lay down in front of the t.v. to watch some disney movie. Then Tito Bernard suddenly comes back inside, telling us to go out and go stargazing with them. We all obey and go out to the dark part of the street where the street lights can't reach us. Every now and then someone would go back inside the house to grab a chair or a pillow or a blanket until everyone's on some pillows on a sarong on the ground or on a foldable, reclining chair. The only thing missing was my guitar but I was too lazy to go back inside to get her. Hehe.

The air was nice and cool. Every once in a while a fire fly would pass by. And crickets were singing all around us. The sky... The sky was gorgeous. Dark and clear, filled with stars. I was able to spot one shooting star. Everyone else was able to see 3 or 4 or 5. Grr... But that's ok. Just looking up at the clear night sky was enough.

This time I slept at around 10pm. Still early. Hehe. :)
