Reading Festival 2006
Ok so say goodbye to yet another year of jam packed music and drunken antics all held in the almighty city of Reading...that makes year 5 in a row for moi! Nothing will beat 2002, my first visit to the fest, but it still has a place in my head every year! :D
So, the lo-down on the band front....[you have to see as many bands as poss else it's not worth it maaannn]
FRIDAY:
Mumm Ra = Fightstar = Dashboard Confessional = Panic! At the Disco = Bouncing Souls = Yeah Yeah Yeahs = Eagles of Death Metal = Thursday = Primal Scream
SATURDAY:
Aiden = SonicBoom 6 = Adequate 7 = Wolfmother = (bit of the Cribs meh) = Be Your Own Pet = Dirty Pretty Things = (your Fit by the Streets and the first 2 tracks of Artic Monkeys) = Coheed and Cambria = MUSEEE!!!!
SUNDAY:
Mastodon = Killswitch Engage = Taking Back Sunday = Less Than Jake = Bullet For my Valentine = Coldcut = (heard Slayer) = some of the Klaxons (with our dayglow face paint in tact) = (abandoned trying to see The Kooks, what a nightmare!!) = Vitalic = some of Placebo = RADIO SOULWAX/2 MANY DJ's!!!<3 <3 and ran back and forth between main stage and dance tent...to see PEARL JAM
All this amongst the wicked campsite antics proved to be a funky lil weekender, not the best year by far but it definitely kept me on a high this week : )
