HWD Permissions Post
Right. So. Dis guy. There's a lot of stuff he can get up to, and I'll try to detail it all here. If I forget something and it occurs to me later, naturally I will ask. But here's the list, for now, along with some questions to clarify things for me:
- Loki is capable of shapeshifting to assume the appearance (but not the powers) of anyone he's seen before. Does he have permission to imitate your character? (NOTE: I will not use this particular ability of his to stir up serious interpersonal shit without the express permission of the muns involved. If anyone actually wants me to toy around with their characters, please let me know, I'd be delighted. Either way rest assured that I won't do it without asking first.)
- Loki is a telepath. He can't read minds but he can communicate remotely with people. Does your character have some ability or characteristic which might interfere with this ability?
- He's also capable of producing mirage duplicates of himself and of other people and objects. Does he have permission to produce a duplicate of your character, and does your character have any ability or characteristic which might allow them to detect that these are in fact mirages? (A heightened sense of smell or something would do the trick -- they are perfectly lifelike in appearance but completely intangible and, one assumes, do not produce a scent or heat signature or anything of that nature. Anyone at all will be able to tell they're fake upon attempting to touch one, furthermore.)
- Loki is, of course, the God of Mischief. He'll be keeping that on the down-low, but that doesn't mean he won't be up for messing with people here and there. I'd just like a general 'sure, fuck with me' or 'leave me the hell out of it' here and I'll contact anyone he's thinking of pranking with more details if/when it comes up.
That's... shorter than expected, actually. There's lots more, of course, what with the boom boom bad magic, but I figure in cases of bodily harm or death it's usually best to ask people directly when the situation arises, so I haven't included any questions regarding that. Just be aware that it's A Thing He Does.
