i live!

Haven't posted in a while..but here i am, still reporting in from the US, and the message of day is 'I'm officially addicted to Mountain Dew."
Other than that, I'm beginning to like Nestle Raisinets (chocolate covered raisins. 2 points only!) and everything else is the same old boring thing.

Anyway, i was watching The Dance Floor (Singapore TV's reality dance contest thingy) on Youtube (what will I do without it?) this afternoon to catch up on some local flavor when I got a MSN message from someone telling me to check out an interesting news article about some WoW-related suicide attempt case. For some reason, I thought it was Alex who sent me that.. (cos he always sends stuff like that to me. I'm sorry, u really do) so in response I made a passing comment that I thought Lilin was hot (and she is, despite like having had a baby or whatever). And he was like, lilin? so I linked him to the youtube clip which introduces her as the judge for the Dance Floor and then kept on watching the episode..

The Dance Floor isn't as bad as I've been told. It was actually quite nice to watch for some of the performances. Unfortunately I felt like the older contestants were simply trumped out by the younger teams pure energy. Its also quite interesting to watch just for the judges' comments cos they are all so vocal and flamboyant even - must be an industry thing (not to forget lilin...). From what I can see, I think that Val & Pris are really good and will make it pretty far because I think people will eventually favour 'classical' dance as compared with hip hop and so on. Thats my initial impression anyway. The judging seems pretty fair so I'll probably keep watching next time.

So later I checked back my chat windows and stuff.. and I realised that it wasn't Alex that sent me that thing but Sephiro, an FF friend from Kuwait.. and then it all fell into place because I think every guy in Singapore knows who Lilin is.. and its funny cos I would definitely not have sent him that comment if I knew it wasn't Alex. So yea, a big mt (mistell) there. My bad.. but I did later introduce him to Utada's latest single (apparently she's popular with him and his friends over there too. j-pop ftw) Flavor Of Life (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nruhL5Fy6x0) which I think really suits her low, airy, raspy vocal style. I actually recommend it. (Note to diu: no subconscious um.. worshipping this time round, aww..)
