Ouch.
Ah... I forgot to update my blog about Siti's concert, so heres a brief. It was amazing. Voice: top-notch. And I'm sure the Esplanade theatre's acoustics helped. She sang many of her hits, like Biarlah Rahsia, Nirmala, Destinasi Cinta, and Cindai. Well worth the money, Siti's proven herself to be the diva that everyone claims she is.
The only thing that disappointed for me was that she didn't sing Aku Cinta Padamu, which was her breakout classic hit.
The real reason why I'm blogging this time round is because I pulled a tooth today, after maybe over a decade of not having done so. With all the advancements in dentistry since, one might think that tooth extraction has gotten somewhat less painless over the years.. but not for me it hasn't.
To put it bluntly, it fucking hurts. And that's after getting jabbed multiple times to numb the area. I honestly quite like my current dentist cos she knows I don't like pain and makes it a point to numb me up pretty good. But today, even after she (said she) administered well over 2.5x the normal dosage of local anaesthesia, it just wasn't numb enough at the gum area (well, I am a sensitive guy), but strangely half my tongue, lips and face were well asleep.
Thank goodness this is the last extraction I'll probably need to do.
