Finally something new on my wishlist!
Accoring to E3 reports, Sony will be releasing a new version of the PSP (apparently called PSP Slim and Lite.. >_>) which is 33% lighter and 19% slimmer and will have a more efficient battery. I can actually deal with its current size and weight but the new version will also come with a TV out port! With that I'm totally sold on getting it because there are times I just want to play my PSP in the comfort of my home and enjoy it in my couch on a bigger screen and with speaker quality music (which I can already do), almost like I'm playing on my PS2... If I get this thing tho, I wonder what I'd do with my current PSP...
Anyway, other new features are a series of new colors, the ability to charge the PSP through a USB cable, and a system of temporary data storage to alleviate load time from the UMD. Two bundles have been announced, one of them is a silver PSP with a 1GB memory stick and a game (Daxter) and both are priced at $199.99 USD which seems pretty reasonable. They're coming out in either September or October.. seems that reports vary for this..
