I had the most amazing thing ever happen to me just now.
Professor Polley forgot my name! He remembered it after I told him Kayla.
He was all "Oh hi! I'm doing great. Except I have one problem. I can't remember your first name."
I tell him Kayla and BING! "Oh, right! Kayla Corcoran!" And he even pronounces my last night correctly.
And he told me that he has another class with Kelsey Acton, a girl I took notes for last semester, and she told him that I was the best note-taker she had ever had. That gave me warm fuzzies.
All this week, I've been smiling a lot. I'm kind of looking forward to school. Not classes, but school.
