Man, most awesome bale spear ever, or most awesome bale spear ever? We haven't used round bales in forever; sumbitches to feed, let me tell you what. Especially when the grass gets cut when it's way too long and doesn't dry, augh. We do these massive 3.5x7 foot square bales, takes like three damn people to roll them around by hand.

Thanks for the subject recs! Guns is definitely a good one to touch on; guns and weapons in general. My family never had guns because we never had time to hunt, and my Dad's just as liable to kill something with his hands or a shovel/pick/iron bar as he is a gun. Plus the truck for coy dogs going through the lawn, spoody fuckers. Though he did get a BB rifle recently to kill raccoons and skunks. Then again, he's almost 60, so maybe he's getting to tired to kill shit with a spade.

Wealth is another REALLY good one I should do a piece on. Wealth plus type of job is key for defining classes. My parents, as farmers, sink all income into operating expenses, and literally no insurance agencies will insure us because we get hurt and sick so often. We don't have a choice. Then there's the 26 year old high school dropout, with 4 children under the age of ten, and whose husband is a stoned out malcontent- she doesn't have a choice either, really. 401Ks have always been so far out of reach I don't even understand what it means. What does a 401K do anyway?

-Oh yeah. BOCES, and the stigma attached to that. Also community colleges, and now 4 year colleges vs. masters. I love how educational stimga have evolved over the years. Definitely should cover that.

Thanks!
