Day of Disney...
Overall it was fun.
But there were some down points.
And I'm just gonna list it because I'm too tired for fuller details. Starting from the start (and I'll have the good stuff too :O)
1) I was the only one really ready >_> I was dressed and had finished breakfast first, and then when we get to the car mom is all "ZOMG FORGOT LIPSTICK" and then dad's all "Lemme give you the key...ZOMG I DON'T HAVE MY KEY" and I'm like "...*holds up her key*" >_> And they both run up to the room and get stuff xD
2) On the way to pick up my cousins who were staying at a different resort, there was some sort of direction complication that was going on there >_>;; Like, there is this junction where you can either turn right or left. AND THERE WERE NO CARS IN FRONT. But it was backed up like BACK ON THE HIGHWAY. We're like "WTF" cos we wanted to get there early. (Plan was to hit Everest first at Animal Kingdom, to either ride it or get fast pass, depending on wait time, and then do the rest.)
3) Dad took the wrong exit and we wound up in Epcot parking lot instead of Magic Kingdom >_> We were gonna go to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon and thus we would leave from there. Didn't happen xD We had to take the bus from Epcot to Animal Kingdom. Had to wait like 10 minutes >_>;
4) We got the fast pass for Everest. Plan was that we would do Dinosaur and whatever else in the meantime and just like zip through the line later. The wait time was only 20 minutes, and we were debating but then everyone is like "iunno what do you want?" "iunno, iun care" so I'm like "ALKSDJFLSKAJF Since you guys want to ride Dinosaur, just get the FP and we'll come and then jet out xO" since the time was 11:15-12:15 and by that time we shoulda done everything. Things don't go as planned.
5) We did this Primeval Whirl thing that was in the kiddy section of Dinoland USA. It was...interesting xD
6) Rode Dinosaur. ALADAR! 8D Parents were originally gonna split off from us, but then they joined. I laughed. DUDE XD AYRINE AND JORDAN (my cuzzies) WERE LIKE HUDDLED ON THE SIDE AND I WAS JUST LIKE "_._;; *whatever*" cos I rode it before with Clark so I knew what to expect. AND ALADAR!
7) TIME FOR EVEREST....
Or not. We get there and they are having technical difficulties. WTF. xOOO WE HAVE FAST PASS XOO WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH IT THEN?! Luckily they were like, "Yeah, if you still have passes, you can still use them later :O" So whoo. What to do til then?
8) Walked around the park, did the jungle trails both in Asia and Africa (THE TIGER ACTUALLY PLAYED WITH HIS/HER BALL AND MOVED AROUND IT WAS AWESOME XO) and then we watched the Celebration of the Lion King. I totally wanted to sing along but I didn't xD;; *still knows those sings, HELL YEAH.*
9) Went back to Everest. It was finally back and operational. FAST PASS WHOO. EVEREST WHOO. 8DDDDD
10) Hopped onto the bus to Magic Kingdom. Had to wait a while.
11) Dash to get fast pass for Space Mountain. Because by this time it was like 2, I wanted food, and Ayrine wanted to see the stupid parade >_> We somehow managed to do this all xD; Then we did Buzz Lightyear.
12) Saw the... .. what was it called, Mickey's Philhar 3D movie? Something. Lulz Donald. I want to app Donald (Kingdom Hearts version because writing a background for normal Donald would be a bitch.) for LSG XD; Then we went around and by that time we could get fast pass for Splash Mountain. The wait time for both Splash and Thunder was like 80 minutes >_>;;
13) Went through Pirates (not as different as I thought it would be *hadn't seen the new version*), TIKI ROOM (|D *luvs Tiki Room, good memories.*)
14) Then we went to check the time on Thunder and BAM TWENTY MINUTES. So we went on it. RAISE THOSE ARMS IN THE AIR LIKE YOU JUST DON'T CARE |DDDD Ayrined wimped out. She only raised them like halfway. LAME.
15) By this time, it was starting to kinna storm and I saw lightning in the far distance. The staff people for Thunder were already saying (just as we were getting off the train) that they would be closing the ride cos of the storm. Yeeeeeah. That doesn't bode well for Splash and Space =\
16) Went on the Haunted Mansion. YES I WENT ON THE HAUNTED MANSION. It wasn't as scary as I remembered. Then again, the last (and ONLY) time I went on it was when I was like. Nine. And I hate haunted anythings >_<;;;; But like while Jordan was keeping his face covered (and he wanted to ride it because I was saying I'd be scared >_>...) Ayrine and I were talking about the technical stuff about it xD Like how things were done. Which really took out the scariness of it even if it's not that scary.
Oh and you know that gravestone thing with the face on it? It's like right before the entrance thing when you're waiting in line. I noticed the face move and the eyes opening, but they hadn't. And I was like "HEY IT'S LOOKING AT YOU 8D" and they turned right as it opened its eyes and they were like "HOMG XO" and I laughed >_>;; I think that's probably why I wasn't as scared anymore xD I WAS ENJOYING THEIR OWN FRIGHT.
17) Yeah, that storm? The other rides? We didn't go on them DDD: They were both closed cos of the lightning that was still around (it didn't really rain much) and it was like 8:30ish by then. Dude I looked up at the Astro Orbiter thing and there were PEOPLE STUCK ON THAT THING >_> Like it had stopped. And there were PEOPLE in it. And they couldn't get out, they had to wait >_>;;; *sucks for them*
18) We had to wait an extra half hour for that last parade (Spectra...Illumination..something.) Because Ayrine REALLY wanted to see it. Because she had a video camcorder this time. *rolls eyes* By this time I was tired and really didn't care, but Jordan kept whining and complaining and wanted to leave. He kept going like "Ayrine, lets go hoooome it's already been, like, THREE MINUTES" and I'm just sitting against this tree thing and I'm like "______.______"
19) Finally left and took the Monorail |D Which also had technical difficulties...>_>...BUT THERE WAS A SNAKE ON THE RAMP O-O It was a small one, probably a garden snake. I wanted to take picture but I wasn't fast enough D: It slithered away D:
Also, I think I'm sick. During the afternoon, after we got to Magic Kingdom, my nose started running and I kept sneezing. I had to blow my nose like every five minutes. I was perfectly fine in the morning, and this is the first time this has ever happened (I go to Orlando every year, and I usually go to Universal Studios since I used to go to Disney ever since I was like five for like 10 years straight >_> Islands of Adventure wasn't around back then, but once it opened...HELLO ROLLER COASTERS |D)
Another lesson: Apparently getting fast passes increases the chance of the ride being down during the time we're supposed to go on it >_> Did you notice?
Everest - got a fast pass, and it was down during the time (Though we did get to ride it later)
Space and Splash Mountain - got a fast pass, then it was down during the time because of the lightning and storm stuff. Never got to ride it D:
So yeah that's my day. We were supposed to go to Universal tomorrow, but I don't think I can do it. I do not want to be walking around with a thing of tissues like I did today blowing my nose every five minutes -_-;; And I don't want to make myself worse. So hopefully we'll go Thursday instead.
Oh well, I'll need a rest. In more ways than one.
