A Decade or Two...or Three
Ah, days when you accomplish lots of things seem to be the ones that hold us together. I got lots of things done today. The one that seems most fulfilling is that I got my car insurance today. This is the first time that I have had car insurance on my own and even though it's crappy cheap insurance, I did it myself and got it together and that in itself is rewarding. Anyway, the attic is coming along, sheetrock almost finished and the ceiling should be ready to paint next week. I am supposed to see my parents sometime this weekend, but they have yet to inform me of the day...I wonder if anyone has told them that the weekend starts on Saturday....hmmmmm....after thirty years of teaching I assumed they knew, but maybe I should send a memo. David is great. Always, he's getting over a cold, but he's recovering more every day. Hopefully I will have my car back in commission tomorrow. I plan to make sure it runs alright and then pressure wash the heck out of the mats to see if there is any chance of banishing the smell of old people and feet from that vehicle. heh. (any of you who have ridden in my car after the rain know EXACTLY what I speak of.) Well, enough of the continual droning saga of my monotonous daily life.
