The Danger Lies Within
So.. that's the title of the movie I'm working on right now.
What?
I'm at work right now. Just got home from a place in North Austin near the Arboretum, where a film studio has been built into the lower two floors and garage of this house. Long story short... I'm officially the costume director for a short film that's being recorded and entered in competition in the Austin Film Festival... which feeds directly into the Academy Awards.
Not that we're guarunteed to win the festival, but an Academy Award nomination would be AMAZING.
I'm not getting paid for the first film I work on, but the next one's being filmed in Hindi, and I can get paid for that one. And I've already been offered a position on the cast for the third one... freaking sweet!!! Ahhh!
Anyways, that's awesome. I'm excited. Even if I'm not getting paid for it, it's a realli kewl opportunity, and it's a way to get my name into "the biz," y'know?
