First, I bonded with several people over a gruesome, hospitalization-causing rollover in my GEO. Then I got the Saturn, and all went well until Maddie puked out my window onto my ex-boyfriend. And then Maddie puked all over my car. Then I broke down in 2Walla and was miraculously saved by a random mechanic (who was very nice.. and kinda cute! lol). Then there was the photo gallery, the time when my passenger ripped the covering off the ceiling (it was annoying him), the time when my dashbord detatched itself, and the sick cat incident. Then there was the times when I threw a chain on the highway and Colleen was convinced we were dying. There was the time when I got stuck on the Landing hill, and then again on the Lutherhaven Hill. Then...
Oh yes. My vehicular history is quite interesting.
And apparently it's genetic.
My brother drives a Plymouth Colt Vista. It's a red minivan about the size of a jellybean. My grandfather had it before we did, and installed an alarm that causes the hazard lights to be flashing CONSTANTLY. He only had it to haul behind his RV so his dog would have somewhere to be, so the whole thing smells like wet labrador, and the hood won't shut properly, so it is bungee corded to the bumper.
Nothing can go wrong!
So graduation was today. We're parked four blocks from the Opera House and it's raining. We jog back to where we're parked, hop into the car, and drive home.
Yeah, right.
The car has died. Apparently, that happens often, because the car alarm that makes the hazard lights flash drains the battery. So Ross unplugs the battery whenever he parks.
Except, this time he forgot.
So we figure, no big. Push the car into a lot, call Triple A, everything'll be fine.
Except, Ross parked in a freaking pothole, and we can't move the car.
Luckily, my good friend James walks by at that exact moment, with his little brother. (Yay for them being downtown when we are!) So we're pushing the car. I trip into a puddle, and then as I'm getting up I hear "AMANDA!!!" and instantly I yell back, "SARAH!"
I don't know why Sarah was in town, I thought she was still in school. But anyways, I knew it was her.
So I thank James and talk to Sarah and Dana briefly (they're on their way to somewhere), and we wait for Triple A to come jump the car.
So, long story short, graduation was nice, Ross's car died, and three random friends happened to be downtown, on the intersection of Washington and Riverside, and happened to witness me in another memorable vehicular incident.
