(no subject)
First away game was yesterday! I hadn't realized how hard it would be to perform at a different school. (Yes, David Long, it is performing. Like a clown or a Juggler. Yes.) Firstly, Incarnate Word's gym SUCKS. Hardcore. I had nowhere to go. Second, I hadn't expected the other school's students to be jerks.. but I got over that. Thirdly, I had to run under the bleachers to get to my changing room (aka a storage closet, lol) and there were big metal things jutting out of the floor, and I smacked my foot on one of them and it hurts a LOT now.
But it was fun. I had a good time! My next away game will be at St. Mary's, also in San Antonio. Oh! And we won. Our record is now 14-3. We rock.
Go Hilltoppers! They're like my own personal mini-Zags.
Ohmigosh. And Shawn bulldozed me and I couldn't get out of my way, so I just latched onto him and let him carry me backwards while he was trying to stop instead of letting him knock me over and hitting my head on the floor. So thatuz funny. And Shawn's fairly hot.. so yeah. Yay.
Anyways, first post in a while.. I know I'm sposeta try an' keep y'all updated on college life... but oh wells. Sorry!
Kate is coming down for Spring Break and I'm PSYCHED!
Also, over MLK weekend I went to a horrible Russian Opera and then to Dallas, surprising the love of my life at 4am by showing up at his apartment. Lol. It was pretty sweet. Ta for now, all!
