I may be interpreting this the way I want to hear it, but did Obama just say, "Suck it assholes who bought houses just to flip them!"?
Also, I know that it affects a lot of people (and the economy) badly, but I'm secretly thrilled that home values have dropped 40%. I may be able to afford to buy another house during some point in my life after all. Fucking Californians fucked up their real estate prices and then came out here and did it to us and priced most people out of the market. Thanks!
