For the love of Friday
First I had to get through a day at work, which sounded a lot worse than it actually was. Work was good, the hours just kind of flew by. I had a lot of stuff to do.
Remember when you were younger and you and one of your friends stayed up late and watched movies and played video games together and found ridiculous amounts of fun in that. We do that.
Tobias came and got me and we ate dinner, watched some Daredevil (because he's not caught up, and he needs to be), then we watched The Martian in 3D and the we played Assassin's Creed 2.
He is not a big fan of sci-fi, but this one is ok with him. It's more techy, less space opera, less space fantasy. Plus all the beautiful visual stuff.
I, enjoy this movie a lot. Been in love with Mark Watney since the book came out. He is perfect. Matt Damon playes him well. I'm so happy they didn't completely screw up one of my favorite books. Plus the movie has Sebastian Stan in it (I can't even).
And Aksel Hennie, and Michael Peña.. so much love.
Spielberg is making one of my other favorite books, and I am so scared...
ok, it's Spielberg... it can't be that bad. I hope.
I know they are doing something right, because they have spent years getting the rights for all the stuff in order. All the 80's stuff.
yes, I'm talking about Ready Player One. Haven't read it? Do it. Or listen to the audio book. Wil Wheaton reads it perfectly. His enthusiasm for the story is amazing.
I kind of made myself want to listen to it again now...
So sleepy.
It's late.
I'm not going to work tomorrow.
I think I'll turn the alarm clock off.
