I, who love comedies as much as I do have now seen two of the in just three days. That's actually impressing. I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as I enjoyed the other one though, but Paul Rudd is a funny guy. Somewhat stiff - but that works for him. We chose this one over The Hangover because wild horses can not drag me into the movietheater to see that film - and who doesn't want to see a good bromance.
The really funny thing about this movie is that they use the old romantic-comedy recipe on these two men. It was so sweet. Of course we reached the point where I had my fill and wanted to leave, but I got over it and enjoyed the rest of the movie too. I did laugh :)
Now, you people, don't think that the movie is bad because I say stuff like that. I just suck at watching comedies. I thought it was fun. A lot of great sequences.
Most of the people I know would probably rather see The Hangover - but do watch I Love You, Man sometime when you get the chance. If nothing else than not having to watch the humor of the director of Old School.
