I, who love comedies as much as I do have now seen two of the in just three days. That's actually impressing.
I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as I enjoyed the other one though, but Paul Rudd is a funny guy. Somewhat stiff - but that works for him.
We chose this one over The Hangover because wild horses can not drag me into the movietheater to see that film - and who doesn't want to see a good bromance.
The really funny thing about this movie is that they use the old romantic-comedy recipe on these two men. It was so sweet.
Of course we reached the point where I had my fill and wanted to leave, but I got over it and enjoyed the rest of the movie too. I did laugh :)
Now, you people, don't think that the movie is bad because I say stuff like that. I just suck at watching comedies. I thought it was fun. A lot of great sequences.
Most of the people I know would probably rather see The Hangover - but do watch I Love You, Man sometime when you get the chance. If nothing else than not having to watch the humor of the director of Old School.
The Rush cover band was epic :D
