The New Yorker - Harry Potter writing challenge

Sep 28, 2012 14:35

The New Yorker has a Harry Potter challenge in their 'Write Your Own Adventure' blog today.

Write one sentence--any sentence--depicting Harry (or any of the other characters in the universe) as adults. The contest will run through Monday morning. Some of you are the best HP writers that I know and there is some glory in the winning, I suppose.

So go and check it out. Even if you don't want to participate it's interesting to see what others have submitted, and most  (so far) seem to be taking the challenge seriously. The game is wide open at this point--and some submissions don't stick to the one-sentence rule so I bet they'll get booted.
