(no subject)
today miss lizzie-pie and I went to the big farmers' market armed with canvas bags and cheerful faces. We were fairly late and a lot was sold out but we had a good time, said hello to lizzie's boss (she works at a local deli) and bought some other food from another local deli.
we made fantabulous lunch...okay, I made fantabulous lunch, and we sat in the sun. Lizzie planted a little acer tree we bought that we've called Arabella, and also planted Colin the hazel tree. I moved a few of the pesky concrete slabs that are making our garden look messy. I basked in the sun, spoke on the phone to my lovely boy, ate olives, and then made dinner.
I caught some sun and felt yummy and my garden is starting to look like a garden, and not a pool of mud.
