Writer's Block: You're a Winner!
I've won two costume contests at the University of Michigan's Animania's Con-Ja-Nai. One year I one first place under the Teen Division with my Nanami Battle Uniform from "Utena". I won a bamboo "Sailor Moon" wall-scroll. Then I won a few years later with first place under the Adult Division with my Generic Female Merchant from "Ragnarok Online." I won a Sesshomaru plush from "Inu-Yasha." I also won the Best Female costume from our small Ann Arbor-Media Play Anime Club. I was Misa-Misa from "Death Note." This was waaaaay before the series actually came out stateside. I got a Media Play gift card.
I've one some drawings online from AnimeonDVD.com. The first one was for a "Vampire Hunter D" novel and "Blood: The Last Vampire" novel. The second was a TON of first volume DVDs of upcoming releases. I've won a raffle through the Huron Valley Rat Rescue. I got a $5 Gaia Online gift card. I also won a raffle through the University of Michigan's Animania. I got the first two volumes of "Golden Boy" on VHS.
I seem to have pretty good luck with small drawings and contests, but I never get lucky with the lottery...
