Yep, figured out that the Sheriff's son was the unsub and that he wanted Cherish. But it was played out well and his rapport with Reid came off naturally. He was definitely showing off a bit for the hotshot profiler who talked to him like an equal.
Poor Sheriff. Interesting approach to the stock character. His training warred with his paternal side and the professional won out.
And speaking of the hotshot -- you go, Dr. Reid! Put the perp off balance verbally then make your move and knock that gun away! Gonna lose your geek cred if you keep this action hero stuff up.
