Wastin' Away
Wow, so I've done a whole lot of nothing today. Okay that's not exactly true, but it feels that way because I've got so much to do tomorrow and when I could have been doing it today I slept.
Today started at midnight with RENT. It was absolutely fabulous. Of course. I wouldn't have expected any less. Then we stayed up until 6:30 this morning chatting. Yes, I know I could have, at any time, said, "Shut up, I want to sleep." But alas, I didn't and I'm okay with that decision. Then the alarm on my phone went off at 8:30 which meant it was time to get up for breakfast with my brother and his girlfriend. Needless to say, I wasn't the most chipper person, but it did go well. We left Crysta's house around 12. I slept a little in the car, but never for very long at a time.
Then we got back here. I was a little hungry since I ate breakfast at a normal time, so I ate a little lunch and then I went to sleep. Oh sleep, how I love you. I slept from 2:30ish until nearly 5. Then I got up for 10-15 minutes before deciding that I wasn't ready to be awake yet. So I crawled back into bed for another half an hour when Twin texted me. I finally got my happy ass out of bed around 5:45. I filled my tub and shaved my legs. I'm wearing a skirt tonight. I still haven't showered, that'll take place probably 10-20 minutes after the last person gets out of the shower so that I have hot water.
Tonight is Andy's party. It will be a lot of fun, provided that I can keep track of my keys so that I can get in and out of my apartment all night. One, we don't want it spilling over here and two we don't want Baxter the curious cat to get out. Yes, Baxter is back, all is right in the world.
Tomorrow I have to write a few papers and get homework done. I think I'm getting a cold, but I'm doing everything I can do deny that and now the second half of the getting ready process must commence.
