catch-up
Well, a hot and sticky day today, after yesterday's heat and last night's rain. I'll definitely need a cool shower before I head out later. But for now it's update time.
The weekend in Melbourne was great fun. I met a lot of very fun people and had a wonderful time. I hated having to leave the party early to catch my train home, though. I'll miss the friends I made (already do) and I definitely wish I lived closer to the city so I could partake in more fun activities. I can't wait for the next one, and will make sure I have a better furry outfit for it!
The next trip to Melbourne will be for the Discworld Con. I've been thinking a bit about costumes for the weekend. Perhaps will go with three costumes - one for each day. I have a short list of possible choices: Agnes, Nanny Ogg (perhaps as the Mona Ogg), Mrs Gogol (nice and easy since I have most of the costume), Cheery Littlebottom (probably too many clothes so I'll get too hot), Lady Felmet (I played her in Wyrd Sisters so I have her costume), Mrs Palm (fun!), Mrs Cake, Countess Notfaroutoe, Ysabell, Ruby.
Coming up to christmas and I've got almost all presents organised. Just need to figure something out for dad. Will have the little monster all weekend and until 10am Chrissy day, when he'll get taken to spend the day with the other half of his family.
Hmm... can't think of much else to write at the moment. I have to go and check my washing, anyway. Love you all, have a great day.
