So the massage was pretty awesome. Hella painful, but awesome. My massage therapist is a total nerd like me, and we geeked out about LOTR and historial fiction and it was awesome. I am entirely too fond of that word. Will break out the thesaurus later when I'm more coherent.
I'm really, really sore now, but I think I'll be much looser when the soreness goes away. He gave me some stretches to try and said to think about coming back again next week. I don't know exactly what he did, but it felt like he was digging into the muscles with a steel post or something. Probably does pushups using only his fingertips. Daaaaamn that hurt. But it was all good, I only had to ask him to lighten up once. And he was so wonderfully nerdy. He even asked me nutrition questions, hahahaha. AND I got the student rate so it was only thirty bucks! Win! Admittedly it was only half an hour, but he said that's probably all I need, so win! Also too fond of that word. Hmm. Perhaps I should work on that.
I think I'm going to be laid up for the rest of the day, so I'm trying to decide how to amuse myself. Now that the animated tennis is all done, I could go back to watching Star Trek and squee over Spock, or watch some of the terrible Chris Pine movies I downloaded, or watch some of the actually good movies I downloaded, or start on season 5 of 24 aka BEST SEASON EVER. Presidential assassination! Political intrigue! Torture mayhem PERIMETERS! I bought it for myself for cheap as a grad present (I kind of bought myself a lot of grad presents... haha... I deserved it, okay?) and I've been wanting to dive into it. I might just have to. Haha, talk about your complete opposite of animated tennis. ILUKIEFER <3
Could also read. I've been tearing through Cassandra Clare's 'The Immortal Instruments' trilogy and I'm halfway through the last one. Anyone else read them?? I never would have picked up the first one, but the ever fabulous
sarahtales was going on about how awesome the trilogy is (she even has a dedication in the second one for her immense love of SIMON :D) and I found it for really cheap in Calgary, so I figured what the hey. And they definitely aren't the greatest books out there (you can TOTALLY tell she got her start in fanfic, hahahaha), but I've really enjoyed them. :D
Hmm, my brain is hurting. I'm thinking book with the possibility of napping with cats. Sounds like an excellent afternoon to me!
