So apparently Diego Forlan is on Facebook. He has such friends as "Pitt Brad" and "Alex Fergie" from Sweden. Also, Rafa Benitez. Wtf, Facebook? And yet I'm still tempted to add him so I can squeal whenever his status updates. Am hopeless fangirl but SO do not care :D
Today was a day of utter insanity that I shan't repeat here. Essentially, did presentation, was utterly useless at answering questions of scary dietitian who apparently scares everyone which made me feel a bit better, missed rounds because meeting took so bloody long, patients all went insane while I was gone and I spent the afternoon changing almost everyone's feeds and diet orders and had absolutely no time to check on the other ward I'm supposed to be monitoring. ARGH. GO AWAY INTERNSHIP, I IS TIRED OF YOU. I like this rotation a lot in terms of what I've learned and the awesome interdisciplinary approach in the ICU, but the workload can just go faaaaaaaar, faaaaaaaaaar away and never come back. Come to me, foodservice, with all your stupid little projects that let me set my own schedule and spend hours calculating the storage space that plastic spoons will need in case of an influenza pandemic. I kid you not, one of the Regina interns did that. And yet I'd take it now, just because it's so very mundane and not insane.
I made weirdly yummy stew involving leftover flat sparkling wine and a lot of curry paste. Drool. And now I watch PRCanada, which will hopefully involve fewer medical emergencies than last episode. Haha, I'm not even kidding. Hooray for reality television!
