Looks like I chose the right time to cancel the cable. Though admittedly, the only shows I'm following right now should be fine for a couple of months anyway. But if they try to take the SammynDean show away from me just when I'm seriously addicted, there will be PAIN. And a lot of whining.
denorios and I will be insufferable, especially if Heroes goes, too. And I wonder if 24 will air at all? Laaaaaame. That being said, go Writer's Guild! Honestly, their demands are really quite reasonable considering the disgusting, bloated amount of money that the industry brings in. FTL, networks. Yeah, you try and appease the masses now with reruns and terrible game shows. The point about the soap operas made me laugh, though. I really think the world wouldn't miss them too terribly, especially since most of the prime time dramas are just glorified soaps anyway. Hehhehheh. Oh TV. You are so lame. But not quite as lame as the people currently freaking out because you are about to be snatched from their lethargic grasp. I shouldn't talk, all I do is download shows and watch them instead of studying. Sigh...
This stupid computer lab keeps going from cold to warm to HOT to FRIGGING COLD and I doesn't like it. I should be writing stupid reflections for my stupider class, but I don't wanna. I stayed up waaay too late reading the last book of the Little House on the Prairies series (as much as I adore Almanzo and Laura, Almanzo/Cap FTW!) 'cuz I didn't feel like sleeping. And it was really cold, so I had both cats with me all night. I called my parents and whined to them about the furnace, so I have to call the repair guys this afternoon and beg them to come clean off the stupid electric sensor that apparently is causing all the problems. My house should have gotten a new furnace last year when dad was putting new ones in all his other slums rental houses, but the bloody federal government cancelled the program that gave rebates and loans for furnace upgrades. ARGH. Huddling under two quilts with cat in lap and mug of very hot tea in hand in stupidly cold house makes for an excellent environment for plotting the timely downfall of Mr Harper. And rage.
I want it to be December! I don't like November! It is cold and gross and has nothing fun in it! Bring on the finals, I don't like these midtermy things! Boo! Hiss! Moon! (don't know where that came from) 'Tis only the 5th, bah. But! I shall distract myself with plans for Christmas! Woot! Okay, so last year I made mix CDs for people and it was AWESOMELY FUN, so should I do it again? I also made cards but ran out of time and got almost none of them sent out (
mittelfeld, I is sorry! <3<3<3), but that means I have tons of already made homemade cards I can send to people. Or should I branch out and do something different? Like... I dunno. Brain too cold to think. I shall think more on it and let y'all know, but I definitely wants to send things to people! Even if I just take pictures of my cat wearing his jingle bell collar and make them into really lame postcards. Hehhehheh. I'd think it was funny, anyway (and so would
petarrr, methinks. my mum gave me the strangest look when I stuck that collar into your envelope, heh), and really, it's all about amusing me. Yes.
Lalalalala! Am going to go to class and be useless! And eat yogurt! Then go home and make more potato soup! And nap! And then study! And then watch Peter Heroes! Woot. A good plan for the day, I thinks.
LOVE!
