My Harry Potter Spoiler of Doom is:
Severus Snape kills Lord Voldemort after signing a massive advertising contract with McDonalds
Get your Harry Potter Spoiler of Doom BAHAHAHAHA. LOVE.
So I'm trying to get the grass cut before it rains, and the lawnmower keeps dying on me. So I get to yell 'NO, GINNY, I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME!' at the sky and people either think I'm stark-raving mad or Harry Potter obsessed. Oh wait, both right on the money. Hehhehheh. So I'm letting her sit for five minutes while babble at you and then I'm going to try and finish the front lawn. I'm so close! Just a little bit left! Please, Ginny, let me finish and you can go have a nice, long snooze in the garage. I bet she's grumpy because she hasn't been put to work in months, since the stupid but attractive boys downstairs never cut the lawn. Lewzerz.
So despite constant catastrophic failure of the university system, I am registered for all my classes! Yay! I think it's going to be a good year. I have more direction than I did last year, which is most excellent. I'm also reconvinced that I'm in the right program and doing the right thing, though I still have moments where I want to run into the arms of the College of Nursing. Who knows, I might end up there yet. But not now! This time last year I was dead set on going into community nutrition, but now I'm thinking clinical might be the place for me after all. I just have such a head and heart for medicine and healing through food and diet, so I can't really see me trying to write school board policies or sitting on committees or buttering up the media when a new food guide or policy comes out. You never know, though. A lot of community dietitians don't end up in the field until a decade or two after they finish their degree, so I may end up there yet. Muahaha, I am the win. The win!
Anyway, for anyone who is interested, here is my class schedule (in pictorial form, 'cuz that's just how I roll).
Term I
Term II
So I'm totally taking my first night class ever. Also, it's Medical Terminology. It may royally suck, especially with all the annoying little preMed students frantically memorising everything the prof says, but I'll be taking it with two girls from camp (including my adorable little roomie Ashley) so it won't be too bad. My other classes look pretty good, too. I had no idea that Clinical Nutrition was a full year class, but I'm okay with that. Fewer finals in December, yay! I had a terrible time trying to figure out my three electives for this year, but I'm pretty pleased with the results. Medical Terminology, Sociology of Aging and Race and Ethnic Relations in Canada (also sociology). I'm hoping to specialise in geriatrics, hence the first sociology class, and the second is a recommended class for my program. Even if it isn't terribly useful to my future career or whatever, it does sound really interesting, so I'm pretty pumped. Yay school! I say that now, watch me revert to whinging in about two months time ^__^
For those of you in school, have you picked your classes for next year yet? You should post your schedules! 'Cuz I'm a big nerd! Do iiiiiiiiiit! :D:D:D (I've become obsessed with smiley faces, don't ask me why...)
Okay, time to try and bend Ginny to my will. C'mon baby, just a little bit more! Stay back, rain droplets, and let me complete my task! *flailing limbs*
