Watched the end of Ellen Degeneres today where she interview Dominic Monaghan. Incredible dork machine, and I don't mean Ellen. She queried him on Becks' brainwashing decision to come to football hell LA and he verbally drooled at the prospect. And then said if he had to kiss a bloke, it'd be Becks. And then said Ellen should have Becks and Eddie Izzard make out on the show. Um. Right, Dom. Freakshow...
Went to a screening of mum's amazing friend Tasha's documentary on the inquest into the Saskatoon police after the deaths of three men who were dropped off on the outskirts of town in -20 degree weather. Ugh. It was so well done and made me cringe. I love my city, but it needs so much help. It made me really want to take some Native Studies classes. I do get two electives next year... and with so many job opportunities for dietitians on reserve, it might be a good idea. Hmm.
Happy St Valentine's in fifteen minutes. I wrote a really adorable semi-sad Valentine's fic a few years back. If I was at home, I'd post it. Oh well. Immense love to my darling mrs_isaacs for the virtual rose! You're such a doll! *kisses* Even for those who don't consider it a day to celebrate, use it as a day to do something lovely and unexpected for someone. I intend to make a fabulous supper for the parents. It's what I always do, but no one appreciates it more than them. I am culinary genius in their eyes. Winner!
