So. 2007.
The entrance to this new year was spent in fine company with greatringmaster, kakodaimon and retinac. In true nerdly fashion, we played a terrible game from the 80s, a Star Wars board game and watched A New Hope, somewhat pausing to welcome the new year with tiredly flailing limbs and pathetic cheering before re-engrossing ourselves in the adventures of Leia and her breast tape. Though mostly I babbled on and revealed my ridiculous depth of knowledge on the entire Star Wars universe (honestly, I worry myself sometimes) and they politely didn't even ignore me. Rocking good time, yo.
I wrote out some resolutions last night, and I'll probably add more in the next few days. Basically, write more, take care of self, find some time management skillz and have a dinner party. I had wanted to start a new football picspam community, but now that the lovely boumsong has reappeared, I shall leave it in her capable hands (you're much better at being non-partisan than me, anyway ^__^).
Anyway. Here's to hoping that 2007 doesn't royally suck like 2006. To a non-insanely stressful term of classes, to enough money to keep from panicking, to fun times with actual people instead of the internet, and to Manchester United winning the Premiership. I had to end on a high note, yes?
I still love you all a ridiculous amount. I shall endeavour to keep in contact and not hole up and allow stress to crush me. Have at you!
Say goodbye to Santa!Gaz. I know you'll miss him as much as me. I shall be changing my icons around, though I may not be able to resist bringing back the David Loves Gary icon. It's too beautiful to not be shared. Or something.
