Don't waste your time, or time will waste you.

Matthew Bellamy, Queen of Subtlety. Though it's better than the 'buuuuuuurn in heeeeeeell' bits. Oh, we do love you. You so tiny and insane and disgustingly talented. Love.

So, the job has been quit. I was incredibly stressed about it, to the point where my hands were shaking and I couldn't eat anything (the crumminess of the day didn't help either). I'm now very mad at two of the managers. One of them looked pointedly at me when I walked in and said 'Late again, hmm?' which was completely uncalled for. Every single time I've known I'd be late, I've called and let them know. I was about five minutes late today because I lost track of time, but I've never been chronically late or anything. I'm still mad. And then the general manager had the gall to demand my holiday Pier 1 dollars back despite the fact that I was crying profusely. Bitch. I understand that she had to get them back, but it was the first thing she said to me. So I raged and stole food and raged s'more, and later took a twenty minute break in revenge. Oh yeah, I know how to show 'em.

I still have one more shift on Saturday, but it's a truck shift so I don't mind too much. Most of tonight was spent putting up Christmas lights around the ginormous windows. I had to run to the craft store to buy more lights because out of the twenty or so that we had in store (that I got to test, oh joy), three of them worked. Lovely, yes. Apparently I did a lovely job, or at least better than the previous year which the every lovely Charie (I don't know if I'm spelling that right... some weird form of 'Sherry', anyway) says everyone still complains about. The best part is that she's the one who put them up. I shall miss her immensely. And the two fabulous managers. And maybe Sondra and Jessel. And Kelly. But probably not. Whatever. I don't regret it at all. So there.
