Does anyone remember that Simpsons Hallowe'en episode where they're cursed by some gypsy and there's a crazy leprechaun who marries the gypsy? And the crazy leprechaun has this demented laugh and dances on everything? That laugh keeps popping into my head. Anyway.
Introduced the parents to The Full Monty. Hahahah, wasn't sure how it'd go over, but after their very favourable response to Saved!, I figured they could handle it. They both rather liked it, so I am pleased. Oh man, how I love that movie (by the way, willard_theduck? I still have your copy. ahahahah. now that I actually have my own, I'll totally give it back *sheepish*). Every character is a total loser, yet you end up loving them all. N'awwwww. Dave and Jean! So bloody cute! And Nathan! The actor's name is William Snape. Ahahahahah. Much love.
I'd talk about the game from this afternoon vs Sunderland, but I'm still seeing red so I shan't mention it ^__^ Enjoy your one-way trip down the league, Black Cat cowards. Why must your team be so ridiculously attractive? Curse you, and your little McCartney too.
Um, I totally didn't do anything today. Dragged myself out of bed at ten to get groceries with the father (I didn't even rage at him for buying pepperoni sticks when they contain 220 calories PER STICK, aren't you proud of me?). Mum and I went on a lovely walk in the very lovely 19 degree weather where I cried non-lovely tears for my missing melanittt. Because I suck. I also hadn't eaten at that point in the day, being midafternoon, so I blame it on that. You 'eard me. And I made mum eat broccoli for supper, but I did it in a marvellous stirfry with equally marvellous steamed noodley goodness and served her raspberry juice, so she didn't complain too terribly much.
Now I groove to a Backstreet Boys vs The Spice Girls remix. 'Cuz I'm cool like that. Then I shall go to bed. 'Cuz I stayed up until one-thirty last night reorganizing iTunes. Before snapping this afternoon, deleting every song and reloading the library. So now I get to remake my playlists. Which I enjoy entirely too much.
On another enjoyable note, any D&D or former D&D fans will get a kick out of this. You don't have to know the characters to find it amusing. I about died laughing. It maketh me ridiculously happy. In fact, I think I shall watch it again. Am a model of responsible behaviour.
