My body has decided to rebel once again, and I am reduced to a cringing being who does nothing but sleep, watch pirated anime and consume small amounts of bland vegetable broth every few hours. It royally sucks. I'm trying desperately to get this application for Camp Easter Seal together, but it seems like everything is standing in my way. I went downtown today to get Liz to fill out one of the reference forms, but Sears doesn't give personal references and she doesn't know me well enough outside work to fill it out. I'm considering pleading with Mrs Brown tomorrow, though I'm not sure she can answer some of the questions (ie. what kind of interactions do I have with children?). I won't be working with the kids anyway, so it's not terribly important. I shall beg her via Mel. She loves being my messenger, though she's half-hoping I won't get the job so I'll be around all summer.

The parents are currently searching for a house in Calgary, though the cheapest they've found in reasonable distance to the campus is almost four hundred thousand dollars. But dad thinks he can swing a downpayment, so I'm not saying much. Everyone's stressed out again. It's partially positive stress, but it's still having a bad impact on everyone. Mel's Japanese exchange partner comes this weekend so Mel is frantic about cleaning up this dump. It really is disgusting. I have grandiose plans of piling all of dad's crap in a room and welding shut the door for the four years (or more) that they're gone, but I don't know if that will happen. I don't know if it's possible to make this house feel like not-his, but I'm sure going to try. I don't even know who all's going to be living in it next year. It shall be interesting, anyway. He's become obsessed with renting rooms and making as much money as possible, but there's no way I'm renting out rooms in this house to people I don't know while I'm living in it. I think there will be enough people anyway. I don't want to think about it anymore.

I'm profoundly tired and sick of the world, but it's too early to go to bed and sleep it all away. I shall force Kime onto a cd (it's awfully shiny, I'm sure he won't mind) and make him cavort around the room while I pile my incredible amounts of clothing into semi-neat heaps. "If you're ever in the area, please, stop by and see me."

sick, emo, job
