Hee! I've got the background detail work for one of my Harry Potter OC's nearly done, especially after I got the 'Are You Being Served?' spin-off 'Grace and Favour' entire series. I know I put way too many British television references in my HP stories, but they all seem to work in the universe.
Wal-Mart is hell on earth - I STILL think there's a psychic vampire hanging about the place because no matter what mood I have when I go in, I turn into a worse bitch than usual while I'm in there. It didn't help that today was a Saturday, first weekend of the month, and it's Superbowl weekend. Erk.
Anybody else think the EU is getting what it deserves for being insensate jerks about the Mohammed drawings? I mean, really, just because western civilization doesn't respect it's main religion's prophets, doesn't mean we have a right to make fun of everyone else's. Besides, Islam has nothing to do with the terrorists ... I do wish everyone would take a world religions course and learn what it actually teaches rather than what the loud-mouth opportunists use it for. Oh, and yes, I respect freedom of the press - BUT I RESPECT RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRESS A HELL OF A LOT MORE!!!
