Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Nessie!

This is another one of my poseables, made for selling at the craft bazaar (and possibly online). She is about 16" nose to tail and fully poseable thanks to a 20-gauge jewelry wire frame. She also has small pouches of polystyrene pellets in her belly and flippers, to give her a little more heft.

Nessie is very friendly and likes to meet new people. :) *waves* She also fits perfectly in the crook of your arm, and will wrap her tail around your wrist to anchor herself.

Nessie is already very well trained, and knows basic commands like "sit" "stay" and "dive". :) Now all she needs is a good home!

An example (albeit a bit silly) of Nessie's posing skills. She's completely unsupported in this picture; the pose relies solely on her wire frame and body weight for balance. (I can't tell if she's doing acrobatics or shaking her butt in a "neener neener neener" manner. Knowing her, it could go either way.)

COMMENTS
Holy *insert challenging expletive here* did this take me forever. Her back flippers were such a PITA too, I put off finishing her for about two weeks. Now that she's done, of course, I think she's the most adorable thing ever. I'll probably be very sad when someone buys her. :( (She'll be available for $35 at the bazaar. I'm reluctant to put her up for sale now because if I do that, I don't know if I'll be able to make enough stock for the bazaar.)
On to other things!
First, a linky:
Scandanavia and the World. This comic is truly hilarious. It's like Hetalia, only with more realistic personalities of the Northern countries. And history. And culture. (Link takes you to the first page.) GO READ IT. Educate yourself. (It amuses me highly that Sweden in that comic is very similar to Hetalia!Sweden. Also, I want to punch America and Sister America, even though they're sadly accurate representations.)
Second: does anyone else really wonder WTH is up with the newest season of Doctor Who? I kinda want my Tennant back. :(
Third: I am actually reeeeeeeeeally considering using "The Den of Yarn" as my shop name. Mostly because just the other day I did some sketches of "stash dragonets" - ie, dragonets that live in your stash and hoard yarn - and they are OMGADORABLE. I might post them later, after I clean them up a bit (they're still very sketchy and messy). They may just end up being my mascots. ^_^
I should really go do something productive before DiffEq's. Someone motivate me.
