August Goals

Yup, that time again.

Looking back on July, I did pretty good on my list.  I finished the quicky Epic Design, and both sets of stitch markers, I'm turning the heel on the second sock, and I'm aaaaaaalmost done with Lothlorien.  (It needs a collar, some edging, buttons, and embroidery.  And it honestly would have been done by now, except I apparently think my head is much smaller than it is.)  I didn't get materials for gifts... partly because that money went to prayer shawl yarn for a friend.  However, at least now I have a definitive idea of what I want to do.

So, here's what I want to accomplish in August:

~Finish Lothlorien.  (Definite yes.)
~Finish the second sock.  (Definite yes.)
~Get swatches done and charts created for next Epic Design.  And possibly start knitting.  (Definite yes.)
~Complete updates on Rivendell pattern.  (Definite yes.)
~Begin formally documenting Lothlorien pattern, and get at least the size small finished.  (Definite yes.)
~Finish another part or two of my long-term project.  (Definite yes.)
~Start and possibly complete aforementioned prayer shawl.  (Definite yes to start, possible to finish.)
~Start Christmas gifts (2, at least) and commissions (just one, ATM).  (Possibly.)

Keep in mind, school starts midway through the month, so I really have no idea if these are reasonable goals or not.  As far as non-knitting goes, I need to buy textbooks and meet with my advisor, as well as moving from the apartment back to the dorms.  Part of me thinks this is harder than all the knitting stuff combined.
