I'm in such a weird mood today

So I have this picture frame on my dresser, okay?  With a phoenix in it that I got from Ohayocon.  Well, it tumbled off and bounced on the floor.  I found the frame and backing but couldn't seem to locate the picture, which lead to me tearing up/cleaning my room, which lead to... well, this.

Haiku on cleaning my room

Warnings: Crack, and an emotional gutpunch in the middle.

1.
Music, knitting, art,
Dragon perched on the dresser*:
Welcome to my room.

2.
Numbers jotted down
Thirteen digits with a dash
What could it all mean?

3.
Starting to get pissed:
Found the frame, not the picture.
Where the hell is it?

4.
Swearing a blue streak -
The picture has been found, but
The frame walked away.

5.
This is like knitting:
Sometimes it is your fault, but
Sometimes you're just screwed.

6.
Giving up on frame.
Maybe in the cleaning mess
It got scared away?

7.
Found the bleeping thing
Under a pile of papers;
Facepalm, brb

8.
Freaking papercut
Right across my thumb's knuckle -
And, of course, it bleeds.

9.
So many boxes,
Stuff I'd forgotten was there -
Hey look!  Fanfictions!

10.
Found the book I wrote
Once upon a time; one thought:
Holy &*%#$, does this suck.

11.
Crying softly now.
Photos, yearbooks from Ridgeville -
How I miss you guys.

12.
My bed is a mess;
Almost want to leave it, but
Where then would I sleep?

13.
Hey look, it's a floor!
Dust bunnies roam like cattle,
But you can see it!

14.
Why I never clean:
Ev'rything is rearranged,
No clue where stuff is.**

*Actually, there's another one on the CD tower and shelf for the wee ones over my bookcase.

**And I always seem to lose something important.  Last time it was my dayplanner with all my passwords (still haven't found it), the time before it was the cable for my mp3 player (found it in my hair drawer, WTF?)

So yeah.  Got the room cleaned, my floor is visible, and threw a ton of crap away.  Also got some stuff that I knew was going to college but didn't have a home (like my honors cords) and boxed those up behind my door.  Don't tell mom, though, she's in denial about me moving out.  :)

I'm really glad I did this, so I don't have to live with a messy room when I'm in pain from tomorrow.
