No NYC for me...
I haven't been able to secure a place to stay in or near the city this weekend, so i think it's safe to stay at this point that i won't be going to the Subculture + Style Symposium at FIT after all. I'm really bummed about this, especially since Rick Owens is one of the speakers and the subject matter is everything a fashion-geek-ista like me could hope for. I was also hoping to get my mind off the fact that it just so happens to be stupid V-Day weekend (damn all those hearts and flowers to hell!!!). Now I have four days off and I'm at a total loss about what to do with myself...other than maybe going to the gym about five times day, since the idea of going to a clubs and bars sans date this weekend is the ultimate in singledom suckage.
