Eight percent done in twenty days... that's not a bad haul. Especially since, as richlayers pointed out, last week was pretty rough... actually the last several have been trying. BUT, I hacked my way through another few chapters, sliced out a section that didn't work, and put a nice sheen on it... and I'm happy to report that I am:
446 / 515 pages. 87% done!
WHOOT.
I'm just about at the climax now. I think things SHOULD roll along smoothly for the next part - there maybe some deep thought required, trying to find just the RIGHT words for the characters to say, but hopefully I won't hit any more snags until the ones I know are waiting for me at the end.
It might be a long shot, but I'm still looking at that end of may deadline. I want to put this baby to bed and spend the summer barefoot and fancy FREE!
