The MRI was inconclusive. No evidence of intracranial hypotension. Actually, I may have HYPERtension, though the only way to know for sure is to actually measure the CF - with a spinal tap. So we're going to do that. My neurologist will do the procedure himself. While they're at it they will check for meningitis, which apparently can only be directly diagnosed by testing the CF.
I am so not looking forward this. If my (useless, damned) epidural was any indication, this is going to majorly suck.
But, even more than the pain, I'm scared that, after all of this, they won't find anything at all.
I talked to a woman at the hospital's pre-registration department today. She told me she's had the procedure three times for, guess what. Headaches. And they've never found anything. Poor lady has had a headache for seven years. And counting.
Dear Gods, I don't want that to be me.
