Multi-tasking
The progress on my latest short story is so painfully slow. I have precious few opportunities to actually sit down and focus. Today I revised the same paragraph I’ve been working on for two weeks running - this was after the roast was in the oven, before the baby woke from his nap, and during the service call from the HVAC guy.
It's been at least a month since I sent anything out. I need to get another submission in the mail before the momentum dries up again. I think I need to shift focus to some of the older stuff, and let the new story come as time allows. I guess.
Sooner or later I'll get this rhythm down.
Sooner or later I'll learn how to spell rhythm without a spellchecker.
