I found the BSG finale to be extremely unsatisfying. I'm not going to go into the myriad of reasons and list things one by one - which is unusual, because I usually do that. I honestly can't find the time to care about it anymore. It did not click with the rest of the show - granted, the entire 4.5 season did not click with the rest of the show - but by the end of it, while a lot of questions were "answered" that does not mean that they made any sense. Especially common sense in regards to the actions of some.
But, I still had three and a half seasons of awesomeness - it does not ruin the show for me. But does greatly turn me off from anything Ron Moore does in the future.
But I do know why people are butting heads about the finale either being AWESOME or TERRIBLE.
It was a very good ending for the character storylines.
It was a very shitty ending for the story itself.
And the latter just ranks higher to me.
