Blargh, it's been too long since I updated this, but I've been busy. The college applications process is nearly complete; I've managed to narrow my choices down to seven schools, and thankfully all take the Common Application, meaning I can fill it out just once and then photocopy it. However, it turns out my braindead mother forgot to send in my SAT scores, so I've gotta wait for her and be held up XP Parents. Still, at least the whole thing will be over soon, and I can relax. Yay for Senior Slump! XD
In other news, I've been caught unfairly in a disciplinary case at school. Seems I didn't turn in a piece of paperwork the week before exams, and as a result I have 5 hours (meaning I need to do community service work around campus for 5 hours). However, I know for a fact that my name did NOT appear on the "hours list" the week I got them, so I never found out until I was past the deadline for serving them. As a result, they'll yank me out of classes tomorrow for 5 hours, and I'll get demerits in the class books. My counselor is trying to find the old lists to prove I couldn't have known, but it's already Sunday afternoon and she hasn't said anything, so that's not looking good.
If I'd known about the hours, I'd have gladly served them! But I didn't KNOW, and I just know that even if I am proven innocent, the Dean is going to be the condescending, self-righteous bastard he always is and blame me for not looking into everything in detail.
