(no subject)
ok, so I'm thinking about redoing TransfanCentral.com with a new layout. Not to worry, though. the temp. page will have a link to the old site. there were so many nonfunctional links last time I visited it wasn't even funny. and you know how nonfunctional links are my eternal pet-peeve. I swear,I get two or three, and I'll redo an entire section over it.
But, that's not my only reason for the redo. I wanted to test out a layout that combines html with css. I've been trying to learn css around all the other busy stuff in my life right now. so far, it looks pretty good. I'm hoping to also add a light version of the site for those who don't like the dark background/light writing. yep, I'm finally doing it. lol. also, I'm bringing back the series bar menu under the banner. I got some stuff from various serieses, and I'm going to do a test-run on the series-based menus. i don't know how long it'll take to get the basic structure and menus etc. worked out. I don't currently have home internet (I have to transfer pages to my cellphone and upload from there which limits my ability to edit), but I'm not messing with the current site until the new one is at least somewhat substantially ready (and browseable).
also, I'm trying to get going on my fiction again. My headcharacters have been bugging the crap out of me lately, for not being written in so long. lol. hopefully I can find some time to remedy that. right now, though, I need to learn how to sleep at night. heh. so I'll probly post again later.
