So I am still alive and kicking.
July nearly killed me though. I was SEVERELY understaffed, although that wasn't reflected in my budget, so I was very reluctant to hire anyone else. I wound up working almost every weekend in July cleaning rooms, would have worked the last weekend, but I told my staff that I was Not Available, thank god.
But the summer is almost over, and we have all survived it. I think my goal for the next while will be learning to delegate. I want to get to a spot where I am not working nine + hours a day.
I am still liking the job though, so that's something.
