wow katrina that "jack"o'lantern is awesome! you did all that yourself? it's been years since i've carved a pumpkin. josh and i were going to a week or so ago but we didn't end up doing it for some reason. :(
the past couple days have been really warm here too. not nearly as hot as where you are but it's been perfect weather! and then the rain comes and makes it all yucky (but it's WARM rain!).
i recycled my renfaire dress again for halloween. i figure hey, i paid $100 for it, i may as well wear it till it shreds!

Yessum I did! I hadn't carved one in years up till 2 years ago (or so) when I made an Oogie Boogie. Now it's become something of a personal tradition.

Good for you for re-wearing your renfaire dress. It works the same way with my prom dress; I'll never get rid of it cuz it's dark red and a very simple design, so it lends itself very well to various Halloween costumes (though I admit I haven't worn it in several years now).

Even after dark last night it was in the upper 70s... Halloween is not at all the same down here in this weather. Definitely aspiring to move back up north sometime soon ("soon" meaning before I turn 30. sigh.) so I can experience a proper autumn again.
