Shannon had a doggy party yesterday. It was pretty uncomfortable because it was just so freaking hot. 90 degrees during the day! It's freaking November, okay? Anyway, I did bring Lucy but she prefers people to other dogs. She doesn't mind them but she was pretty uncomfortable all day, and was following me around closely wherever I went. I don't even need to keep her on a leash.
We had the Pumpkin Patch Party at the library on Tuesday. They do story time for the kids then take them "trick-or-treating" around the library. I got to dress up in my Snow White dress and hand out candy. It did get my picture in the paper, which is always fun.
Definitely ready for winter. Or should I say "winter".
