Too many goodbyes

So, as you can see, my passion is United, but I also have a really soft spot for Juve in my heart. I guess it was Pavel Nedved's fault. Don't ask me why. I know they are corrupt and everything (well, not them, but the people in power of the team) yet there's something about them. Perhaps their fighting spirit, even against themselves and their scandals; wanting to right their wrongs, the memory of glory days forever beating in their hearts.
And one of them, who was always there, win or lose, honorable, a gentleman, was Alessandro del Piero.
So, reading this got me really emotional:

Everything about it was moving. Overall, the fact Alex did focus on the small details that made every single game, win or lose, special; but, most of all, in the fans, the people behind. The ones that loved him.
This makes him special. And I'll miss him. Just as I missed Pavel when he left.
The next Scudetto is for you. This one was dedicated from Gigi to Nedved (yes, slashy stuff there, but right now I'm already sniffly with Alex leaving). We'll always remember you, Del Piero, the one who stood always by his team: the knight that pledged his love to only one lady: The Old Lady of Turin.
