For those watching the news and worrying, I'm fine, and so is umbran. Neither of us were anywhere near the danger zone, and I, at least, was blissfully unaware of any goings-on until a friend from Indiana texted me in a worry

Thanks for posting. You're one of the folks I was most concerned might have been in Boston to watch the marathon. I'm out of the area of concern as well.

Channel 7 has a live broadcast continuing from downtown. I haven't looked for other sources of news yet.

Sounds like the situation is as under-controlled as it can be under the circumstances.
