Yeeeeah, I'm canon-centric with small/dead/cancelled fandoms - and not shippy to boot, as a rule. Occasionally I'll veer into something still breathing, but not often. Actually, I'm not sure I actually have a fandom at the moment. And I can't muster the fannish to write or vid, which is unfortunate with Yuletide and Festivids eyeing their watches and looking meaningful. Also, I totally fail Tumblr. I poked it, but rapidly realised, even if I managed to understand what the hell it was for, it would just be one more platform I failed to engage with whatsoever. You're not alone! Which may or may not be a comfort, as you're not alone with me, but. You know. If you want to natter about fannish or lack thereof, I'm here! I'm just ... sporadic. Sporadic is a good word.
Work-wise, euch, yeah :( I'm self-trained and work from home exactly because of no education to speak of and issues with the big wide world beyond. Basically, I'm totally unemployable in the traditional sense :P Have you maybe thought about looking at web dev/design at all? Even if you didn't move into it, it would give you something to focus on and get somewhere with, which might give you a bit of a boost?

TL;DR: *hugs*
